This is the third course being taken in a never-ending saga of trying to use PSP to the fullest. The following images are general adjustments using the Histogram. The first pic is the original image and the one next to it is the "altered" image. I have had a difficult time trying to understand this aspect of PSP but hopefully as the lessons progress, I will get a better understanding.
