JPG Compression
This jpg is the original image. The following jpg is at 20% compression. I have stared at both images and cannot really see any difference (maybe I need new glasses, lol) Anyway I would post the original image, as it has the full color effect
GIF Compression
The above pic is the original gif. The following pic is what happens when transparency is applied.
As you can see the original background blue color has been removed, but the remaining balloon strings are a little messed up. The next gif has been edited to smooth the edges.
Optimized to the Max
I was fooling around with the settings for this one and it seems like the best one is the JPG I compressed here at 15%.
This flag has been compressed to 50% as a JPG. I has first thought it was splotchy till I checked it with the original, looks no different to me.
Seems like the JPG worked the best for me. This is compressed to 50%, but I had resized it.
The rest of these have all been compressed to 50% JPG. I did them in GIF format, but after messing around with the colors & compression settings, they just looked totally blech. The only exception to the 50% compression is the soccer pic, just could not get the area around the words just right. I used 30% for that one.
